 best protein powder ever!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sun Warrior Warrior Blend Raw Plant-Based Complete Protein Powder ~ Chocolate ~ 2.2 lbs Bag (Grocery) i got this in the mail today. i rushed home and blended up a smoothie with almond milk, a banana and a table spoon of almond butter (with a scoop of the chocolate sun warrior powder). it was amazingly delicious. i've been eating the amazing greens protein powder...i reminds me of all sorts of gross things. but the sun warrior is so delicious. not gritty or powdery or thick (like psyllium and amazing greens). i'm so glad i ordered the vanilla too. it definitely had a stevia-like after taste, but i think i can live with that considering it only has 4 carbs and 84 calories. can't wait to see how this works in the long-term! this will be a smoothie i look forward to every day! I usually blend one scoop with one cup water, one cup unsweetened almonds milk, 2 tsp. cocoa powder, and a cup of ice. This makes 3 to 3 1/2 c. of smoothie, and it's a great breakfast. It could stand a bit more stevia, but too much gives me nasty headaches. I don't do dairy, trying not to have any processed soy products. We always need more vegetables in our diet so I've been trying vegetable based powders. Most of them have been HORRIBLE! This one is so good and it uses the natural sweetener Stevia. I mix it with coconut milk, blueberries, and strawberries and it is amazing!!! It gets my day off to a great start! I use it in the evening a lot as dessert too. Coconut milk, blueberries, and a bit of cocoa powder...a packet of Stevia...and blend. Healthy chocolate treat! |
